Image
0067 [ASMR] Silicone pan mats - 4k - No Talking This is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 10th of April 2020. Yet again I have taken inspiration from the kitchen, this time with those little mats you put hot pans on to not burn your kitchen side! They have little cross checks on both sides and are really grippy with makes a interesting sound perfect for ASMR. Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Metal USB Microphone Other: Two silicone pan mats  Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

Image
0066 [ASMR] Clothes pegs tapping and shuffling - 4k - No Talking T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 3rd of April 2020. Whats the line from that film "suns out guns out" in my life its more like suns out washing out... oh what and exciting life! While I was waiting for the washing machine to finish i have a bit of free time on my hands and though I might as well make a video with clothes pegs, what I completely forgot was that the washing machine at the end of the cycle make a huge noise that is not really what you want disrupting and ASMR video. Oh well at least it gave me the inspiration to film it another day!  Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Rode - Video go Other: Clothes pegs  Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

Image
0065 [ASMR] Box of screws - 4k - No Talking T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 27th of March 2020. Like my last video another prop from decorating my house, this time a box full of screws. Not only do we get awesome ASMR sounds from the box its self but also metallic sounds of the screws too, BONUS! Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Rode - Video go Other: A Box of metal screws Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0064 [ASMR] Tile tapping - 4k - No Talking

Image
0064 [ASMR] Tile tapping - 4k - No Talking T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 20th of March 2020. I have been decorating and modernising my house and have a few tiles left over to play around with, other than making fine coasters to rest my cup of coffee I had little else to use them for but it came back in to my mind with the large amount of time I slipped dropped and shuffles the tiles as I was installing them that they make a really good repeatable tapping sound.  I think there might be another video or two that will come from this idea :)  Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: 2x Lapel microphones Other: Tiles Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0063 [ASMR] Metal sieve scratching - 4K - No Talking

Image
0063 [ASMR] Metal sieve scratching - 4K - No Talking T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 13th of March 2020. Straight out of the kitchen and in to the ASMR video its a metal sieve. In this video you will find lots of attempts to scratch the metal mesh without either grinding my fingers down to the bone or filing away what ever in scratching it with.  While recording this video I though of another version where I directly attache the two lapel microphones to the sieve... I wonder what that would sound like? Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Rode - Video go Other: Metal sieve and scratching things Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0062 [ASMR] Wooden pencil sounds - 4K - No Talking

Image
0062 [ASMR] Wooden pencil sounds - 4K - No Talking T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 6th of March 2020. Cracking out the arts and crafts collection in this video. Tapping lots of wooden pencils gives a more gentile sound than purely tapping wood due to there thin construction. I'll see how this one is received and try another way to making this light tapping sound. Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Tascam DR-05X Other: Lots of wooden pencils Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0061 [ASMR] Latex Gloves Sounds - 4K - No Talking

Image
0061 [ASMR] Latex Gloves Sounds - 4K - No Talking This is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 28th of February 2020. In this video I have decided to bring out the latex gloves and remove the wind block from the microphone, no way connected I found that it just gave a better sound when trying out recording! Latex gloves are and interesting one they make so many good ASMR sounds that just can't be made any other way!  Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Rode - Video go Other: Latex gloves Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

Image
0060 [ASMR] Tapping and Scratching cardboard - 4K - No Talking T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 21st of February 2020. New video up! Can you guess again that I'm using something destined for the recycling bin! This cardboard packaging is not as normal as it might look, it is a honey cone structure sandwiched between two sheets of car which makes a really interesting tapping sound.  Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Rode - Video go Other: Cardboard packing Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0059 [ASMR] Scratching fabric cushion - No Talking - 4k

Image
0059 [ASMR] Scratching fabric cushion - No Talking - 4k his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 14th of February 2020. This video inspiration came form feedback on YouTube about wanting more and longer fabric scratchiness videos. While not having another towel to hand that I could use I make the choice to use a textured cushion and my new Tascam microphone. Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Rode - Video go Other: Red cushion Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0058 [ASMR] Washing machine - 4K - No Talking - Ambient sounds

Image
0058 [ASMR] Washing machine - 4K - No Talking - Ambient sounds T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 7th of February 2020. Time for something a bit different with this video. While being stuck at home doing all the mundane house "stuff" i noticed the very homely sound of a washing machine I had put on earlier. Some people like the ambient sounds that reminds them of home or the reassuring sound of something relatable in their lives. I hope you like the longer than normal longer than normal length video. Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Rode - Video go Other: Washing machine  Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0057 [ASMR] Tapping plastic "bank" cards - 4k - No Talking

Image
0057 [ASMR] Tapping plastic "bank" cards - 4k - No Talking T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 31st of January 2020 Bringing out the Tascam again for another video. I have these credit card style blanks to use in this video normally used to make ID cards but the ones I have are faulty, rather than chuck them in the bin I thought I would try and make use of them in another way. Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Tacsam DX-05X Other: Plastic cards Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0056 [ASMR] Flutter fingers - No Talking - 4K

Image
0056 [ASMR] Flutter fingers - No Talking - 4K T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 24th of January 2020  This is a new one for me, I have never done a video with out using a prop to make the sound, plus I get to use my new microphone too! An ASMR trend called flutter fingers has been around for ages and it is very popular due to its unique softer sound. I have never had a microphone that was able to pick up the small sensitive sounds until now!  I have got a brand new Tascam DR-05X to play around with, currently I'm using the line out from the mic but I will have to have a play around.  Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Tascam DR-05X Other: Tough plastic bubble wrap Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0055 [ASMR] Tapping plastic packaging - No Talking - 4K

Image
0055 [ASMR] Tapping plastic packaging - No Talking - 4K T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 17th of January 2020. Time for another tapping video. Like most of my resources which I use to make my videos this is another piece that is on its way to be recycled, so why not give it another used before it leaves me, how very green. Unlike normal bubble wrap used to protect items during shipping this small packet is more ridged and makes a louder thumping crackling sound rather than normal flexible bubble wrap which can produce a more white noise sound. Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Rode - Video go Other: Tough plastic bubble wrap Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0054 [ASMR] Scratching microphone withmetal forks - No Talking - 4K

Image
0054 [ASMR] Scratching microphone withmetal forks - No Talking - 4K T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 10th of January 2020. No, I'm not really that hungry!  I really like the sounds of scratching in ASMR, as you can tell I have done a fair few in the past. I think it is time we do another! I have not got a disposable cover of foam that will fit my Rode microphone so I did have to be careful with the amount of scratching.  I hope you like this lighter sounding by closeup feeling video! Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: Rode - Video go Other: Metal forks Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition

0053 [ASMR] Towel Scratching - No Talking - 4K

Image
0053 [ASMR] Towel Scratching - No Talking - 4K T his is the complement to the YouTube video published on the 3rd of January 2020. First video of the new year WOOHOO! Make by clipping two lapel microphones to a towel and simply scratching away.  I have seen a lot of fabric scratching videos recently so i gave it a go myself.  I'm thinking of making a longer version in the future maybe with different textured towels to see if there are any different sounds to keep and eye out! Equipment: Camera: Sony A7III - 35mm Full Frame – Kit Lens Resolution: 4k Microphone: 2x Lapel Micrphones Other: Towel Software: Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition
